Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

  • Entries must have been first published, launched, or aired within the official eligibility period.
  • Work must have been created for a legitimate client, brand, or organisation.
  • Personal projects, test pieces, or portfolio-only work are ineligible unless expressly stated.

Permissions and Rights

  • Entrants must have obtained all necessary permissions from the brand/client and any third parties whose rights are involved.
  • Entrants must provide the brand/client contact details upon submission.
  • The Glow Women’s Awards may contact the client directly to confirm approval.
  • Where multiple suppliers are involved, the entrant must ensure all contributors are properly credited and there is no dispute over submission rights.

Verification and Proof

  • The Glow Women’s Awards may request proof of airing, publication, distribution, or launch at any stage.
  • Submitted work must be as originally published/aired.
  • Random audits may be conducted, including direct verification with clients.
  • Failure to provide proof upon request results in disqualification.

Accuracy of Information

  • Entrants must certify that all information submitted is accurate and not misleading.
  • Misrepresentation may lead to disqualification, withdrawal of awards, or banning from future participation.

Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

By submitting, entrants grant the Glow Women’s Awards a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the submitted work for judging, exhibition at the awards event, and promotion/publicity/archival purposes. Entrants retain full ownership subject to client agreements.

Confidentiality and Sensitive Material

  • If submissions contain confidential material, entrants must clearly indicate this.
  • The Glow Women’s Awards will use such material solely for judging and verification and will not publish it without consent.
  • Obtaining client approval remains the entrant’s responsibility.

Disputes and Challenges

If multiple entrants submit the same work, the Glow Women’s Awards may request joint confirmation or disqualify the work if disputes cannot be resolved. Awards may be withdrawn retroactively if issues arise post-event.

Disqualification

Entries may be disqualified if they breach eligibility dates, lack client approval, infringe third-party rights, contain false or misleading claims, or fail to provide requested documents.

Indemnity

Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Glow Women’s Awards and its partners against claims arising out of IP infringement, misrepresentation, or unauthorised submission of work.

Judging Integrity

  • Judging is conducted anonymously, based on merit.
  • Entrants must avoid agency or individual branding inside judging assets unless essential to the work.
  • Judging panel decisions are final and binding.

Withdrawal of Awards

The Glow Women’s Awards may withdraw or revoke awards after presentation if rules were violated, work was falsely represented, or required permissions were not secured.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Zambia.

The Glow Womens’s Awards are a registered initiative organised and operated by Glow Network Zambia to recognise and celebrate outstanding women across multiple industries, whose work is shaping communities and inspiring a new generation of women leaders.

All nominations, submissions, and award determinations are subject to verification and validation by an independent, certified accounting firm to ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to the highest standards of professional integrity.

By submitting a nomination, participants acknowledge and agree to the official terms and conditions, which govern eligibility, judging criteria, intellectual property rights, and the use of submitted materials. Glow Network Zambia reserves the right to verify all information provided and to disqualify any submission found to be incomplete, fraudulent, or in violation of the stated guidelines.
